A thrilling first-person experience is fast approaching with ‘Indiana Jones & the Great Circle,’ developed by MachineGames. For the first time, step into Indy’s fedora and navigate through enthralling landscapes, from ancient tombs to bustling cities.
Gear up for a new globetrotting adventure with the legendary archaeologist! Indiana Jones & the Great Circle, developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda, throws players into a thrilling first-person experience.
This marks a departure from previous Indiana Jones games, which have typically been third-person action-adventures more akin to Naughty Dog’s Uncharted series or Tomb Raider.
We think the new perspective will allow players to truly inhabit the fedora of Indy himself. Navigating ancient tombs, bustling cities, and treacherous landscapes through his eyes. And fans are happy to see the return of Marcus Brody, a familiar face from the films.
Joining Indy on this adventure is a new character, Gina Lombardi, an Italian journalist who brings her own resourcefulness and skills to the fight against the Nazis.
While the first-person perspective surprised some fans, it aligns with MachineGames’ expertise — renowned for its acclaimed Wolfenstein series, which also features thrilling first-person battles against Nazis.
Indiana Jones himself has a long history of punching Nazis in the face (or at least stopping them from stealing powerful artefacts), having done so in three out of the five movies.
With MachineGames at the helm, Indiana Jones & the Great Circle promises to be a thrilling return to form for the iconic adventurer, offering a fresh perspective on classic action-adventure gameplay.
Any pre-orders?
Considering the game hasn’t even had a confirmed release date, it is surprising that GAME has a pre-order offer. You can pre-order it for £69.99 (not a great price to be honest) on the Xbox Series X, and then presumably receive more information when it has been officially announced.
