EA Sports, the sports video game branch of Electronic Arts, releases a new football video game every year. The year 2022 was a major turning point for the publisher as it marked the end of the partnership with FIFA. EA Sports FC 24 was thus the first football video game following the last game bearing the FIFA license, FIFA 23.
Video game fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the new EA Sports FC 25 game which should be released in the fall. And we have the opportunity to reveal to you now and exclusively the release date of the game, its different editions with their associated prices.
The game’s logo has already leaked online
The X/Twitter account PlayStation Game Size often shares its findings regarding video game sizes well before they are released. This account also shares other data such as logos or video game covers.
And this was the case most recently with the publication of the EA Sports FC 25 logo. We therefore imagine that the announcement of the game should be very imminent.
Our information on EA Sports FC 25
After several investigations from billbil-kun from our sister site Dealabs Magazine, he managed to identify the different editions of the game as well as the release dates and prices for each of these editions.
Thus, EA Sports FC 25 will be released on 27 September, 2024. The game will be available in two editions — Standard and Ultimate. Owners of the Ultimate Edition will benefit from 7 days early access, starting 20 September, 2024.
EA Play members will also be able to benefit from this early access with a 10-hour trial.
Price-wise, no change is expected compared to the game released last year, EA Sports FC 24. The Standard and Ultimate editions of EA Sports FC 25 will cost £59.99 / €69.99 / $69.99 and £89.99 / €99.99 / $99.99 on PC, respectively.
The date of the game’s announcement is still unknown on our side, although we estimate that it will take place within 10 days.
EA Sports FC 25 will be released on PS4 according to information from PlayStation Game Size which has just responded to our tweet. We therefore imagine that we should also have a release on Xbox One as well.
