Who gets a PS Plus free premium upgrade? Find out if you can up your game with access to hundreds of titles, online multiplayer, exclusive discounts, and more.
As part of Playstation’s anniversary celebrations, some PS Plus subscribers can now upgrade to a premium membership for free. The offer is account-specific and subscribers need to check their PS Plus status online or in app to see if they’re eligible.
If available, it gives you an extra 386 days of PS Plus features. That includes online multiplayer, monthly games, exclusive discounts, cloud storage, Share Play, and Game Help. However featured game trials and game catalogues may vary depending on your region, and Classics Catalogue and cloud streaming may also be limited over time.
To sign up for the free upgrade, go to the PlayStation Store on your console’s home screen. From there, select PlayStation Plus and upgrade to Premium Membership for free before your next payment date.
However, the promotion is only valid until 26th June. Recurring subscription fees for PS Plus Premium will apply after the promotion ends.
Subscribers can cancel the free upgrade at any time. If not canceled, you’ll automatically be charged at your current billing frequency, whether it’s monthly, every 3 months, yearly etc. Meanwhile, discounts can vary by country, subscriber status, and other conditions.
With the PS Plus free Premium upgrade as part of the PS Plus anniversary celebration, gamers can enjoy more exclusive content and benefits until their free trial ends.
