IKEA UK has launched an enticing new promotion for its customers sure to help during the cost of living of crisis. Every Friday, the popular furniture store is offering IKEA Family members a 50% discount on hot main meals in its restaurants. This offer applies to a variety of dishes, including the famous Swedish meatballs, various vegan and children’s options and other popular dishes.

How do I get a discount at the IKEA restaurant?

Under the slogan “Swe-Dish Fridays“, IKEA is offering you as a Family member hot main meals at an unbeatable price!

The promotion is simple and straightforward: Customers who eat in one of the IKEA restaurants in the UK on Fridays will receive a 50% discount on selected meals. As usual, order your main meals at the IKEA restaurant counter. Then show your IKEA Family card at the checkout and the discount will be applied.

For example, the famous Swedish meatballs normally cost £4.95, but on Fridays, you can enjoy this popular meal for just £2.45! The same applies to other main courses, which are also offered at half price. There’s even a kid’s pasta dish for only 45p! Please note, however, that some dishes may not be included in this offer.

The Swe-Dish Fridays scheme is set to end on 30 August 2024, so make the most of it this summer.

Which meals are half-price?

IKEA customers can get selected hot main courses from the IKEA menu half price on. Here’s the full list of dishes with the discount applied to the prices:

• Meatballs with mashed potatoes, peas, cream sauce and lingonberry jam – 8 pieces for £2.45 / 12 pieces for £2.95
• Plant Balls with mashed potatoes, peas, cream sauce and lingonberry jam – 8 pieces for £2.25 / 12 pieces for £2.75
• Salmon fillet with grain and veggie mix with lemon and dill sauce – £3.60
• Fish and chips (battered Haddock) with chips and peas – £3.45
• Penne Pasta and Tomato Sauce – £1.35
• Children’s Pasta and Tomato Sauce – £0.45
• Small Cooked Breakfast – £1.35 / vegetarian version £1.25

How can I save even more in the IKEA restaurant?

As a Family member, you always receive a free hot drink in the IKEA restaurant on weekdays. You can choose between coffee, tea or hot chocolate. In addition, there are always new Family membership offers with which you can save money.
