Concord, the next PlayStation exclusive game, is set to be announced soon. The multiplayer FPS game, inspired by Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, will be released on PS5 and PC.
Announced at the 2023 PlayStation Showcase, Concord is the next PlayStation exclusive arriving in 2024. The multiplayer FPS game had benefited from a teaser trailer, with a brief presentation on the PlayStation Blog. The title will be released on PS5 and PC.
A few months ago, Dealabs revealed the imminent arrival of a new announcement for Concord. The announcement was set to be presented at PlayStation’s State of Play, which took place back in January. However, that announcement didn’t happen for reasons we still don’t know although we suspect it was because of some issues encountered on the PC version.
Despite recent rumours of a possible State of Play or PlayStation Showcase in May, we’ve not yet been able to confirm any such events.
PlayStation Concord announcement coming soon… for real!
According to the latest information, it looks like the second PlayStation announcement regarding Concord is due very soon. We estimate it will take place within the next fortnight.
The announcement is expected to showcase at least some of the playable characters in the game along with a glimpse of the gameplay. It should also be remembered that we previously stated that the game was inspired by the universe of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, following the initial footage we had.
The game’s release date is still unknown to us. We also don’t know whether the announcement will be made at a PlayStation event or at Summer Game Fest on 7 June. We’ll be sure to update you if we manage to get any new information.
