As Taylor Swift prepares to head back to the UK for another leg of her Eras Tour, performing in London between the 15 – 20 August, Swifties are taking to the internet to try to get their hands on any last-minute tickets.
The team at hotukdeals analysed online searches from the money-saving website, finding that searches for ‘Taylor Swift’ are once again on the up, by as much as 92% week-on-week, having dipped in June after the Eras Tour left the UK to head to Ireland.
These figures will likely continue to increase as the UK leg of the tour continues throughout the 10-day period within London, with searches having increased by 338% in the weeks leading up to her last UK stunt just a few months ago.
These findings reiterate general online searches by UK Swifties, with an analysis of Google Trends finding that UK fans are trying to get their hands on tickets in any way possible, even exploring the idea of travelling to another country. Online searches for ‘Taylor Swift Austria’ have increased by 1,500% in the past 30 days.
The team have also outlined their top tips on how to avoid falling prey to ticket scams by online third-party ticket sellers:

“The Taylor Swift Eras tour has become such an event that she’s had a legitimate impact on the economy, giving a much needed boost to British Hospitality. This has become the hottest ticket in town with celebs queuing up to spill out of the hospitality box, so it’s no wonder the community is buzzing with people desperate to get their hands on tickets without paying a fortune.
As someone who got tickets via AXS a couple of days before last month, I can personally verify that bargain tickets are still out there – even if they are the worst seats in the whole stadium. That said, with the Vienna concerts cancelled, demand is at fever pitch so you have to move quickly. Whilst people may mock Swifties for spending, running at 5 hours of entertaintment, with the highest production values, this is a once in a lifetime event and it is worth doing the work to say you were there.”
