Sony continues to push its strategic initiative of porting PlayStation exclusives to PC. God of War Ragnarök could be the next big title heading for PC according to reliable sources at Dealabs Magazine.

Sony clearly continues to apply its strategy of publishing its PlayStation exclusives on PC. The boss of PlayStation Studios had confirmed, during an interview with Julien Chièze (thanks VGC), that there would be at least a year separating the release of the games on console then on PC.
During 2024, Horizon Forbidden West landed on PC, and Ghost of Tsushima in its Director’s Cut edition will be the 2nd title (excluding live service games) to be released this year. Its release date is set for 16 May, 2024.
Rumours not always true
According to a rumour published at the beginning of the year, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered should have been the next game to land on PC with an announcement planned even in April.
The rumour came from someone called “Silknigth”, a leaker on X/Twitter who is fairly new to the field. But this leaker recently incurred the wrath of Bloomberg journalist, renowned for his very reliable leaks, Jason Schreier. The latter took the opportunity to deny some of the rumours shared by Silknigth .
The next PlayStation title coming to PC
Dealabs Magazine’s own billbil-kun managed to determine one of the next titles which will soon land on PC. According to their information, God of War Ragnarök will be one of these titles available soon on PC.
This PC port should be announced sometime in May 2024. The exact release date of the game is still unknown.
Remember that God of War Ragnarök was released on consoles on 9 November, 2022 . This would make less than 2 years of release gap between console and PC if the title is released before November 2024.
An announcement planned for the possible PlayStation Showcase 2024?
It’s the rumor of the moment, the return of a PlayStation Showcase in 2024 and more precisely during this month of May. And although several sources, including reliable ones, have relayed this information, we cannot confirm it at this time.
If this PlayStation event would return this month, the announcement of a simple PC port during a PlayStation Showcase remains less likely. Unless Sony takes advantage of this announcement to reveal other surprises regarding the game. Time will tell!
