PlayStation Plus July 2024: Here’s a sneak preview of the new games coming this month

Each month, new titles are added to the games catalogue available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. These games are usually added on the third Tuesday of the month, with an announcement on the preceding Wednesday. If we follow this logic, the July games should be officially announced later today at 4 PM (GMT).

We’re excited to bring you an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming games for July 2024, courtesy of Dealabs’ billbill-kun. Mark your calendars: these games will be available starting 17 July 2024 at 10 AM (GMT).

Inspired by Game Pass and more…

Occasionally (if not often) games are added to the PS Plus catalogue that were added to Xbox Game Pass a few months earlier. Last June, for example, Football Manager 2024 was added to PS Plus Extra even though it had been available on Game Pass since its release in November 2023. And we should have a similar scenario this month.

Remnant 2 is one of the games that will be available to PS Plus Extra and Premium members this July. Released in July 2023, this action and third-person shooter (TPS) was developed by Gunfire Games and published by Gearbox Publishing. Remnant 2 is the sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes, which is available on Game Pass. It was also offered on PS Plus (the equivalent of Essential these days) in March 2021.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium: July 2024 Games

Moving away from Game Pass, the other top title in the July 2024 selection is Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion. This action-RPG is the remaster of the game originally released in 2007 in Japan and in 2008 in Europe on the PSP (PlayStation Portable).

According to our information, the following games will also feature in the PS Plus Extra collection for July 2024:

• Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Enhanced Edition
• Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
• No More Heroes 3
• Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition

Remnant: From the Ashes should also feature in the above list, but we have not been able to confirm this information 100%.

Finally, there are still other titles in the July 2024 selection that we haven’t been able to identify. We’ll find out when the selection of classic games reserved for PS Plus Premium members is announced on 10 July 2024 at 4:30 PM (GMT).
