Dive into the terrifying world of Resident Evil 7 on Apple

Resident Evil 7 biohazard, acclaimed for its oppressive atmosphere and immersive first-person gameplay, and Resident Evil 4, famous for its innovative approach to survival horror, are now available on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

The adaptations of the Resident Evil games for Apple devices promise a gameplay experience that is both visually enhanced and technically optimised. The graphics have been reworked to take full advantage of the capabilities of Apple devices, offering detailed textures and visual effects that enhance immersion in the horror.

Whether you prefer to play with a controller or use your device’s touch controls, Capcom has thought of everything. The games are compatible with PlayStation and Xbox controllers, as well as other wireless controllers. What’s more, the touch controls are fully customisable, allowing for a smooth and intuitive gaming experience even without a controller.

System requirements

First of all, only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are compatible with Resident Evil games.

Next, it’s important to check the system requirements. On iOs and MacOs, the games require specific versions of the operating system for optimum performance:

  • iOS 17.0.0 / iOS 17.4.1
  • iPadOS 17.0.0 / iPadOS 17.4.1
  • macOS 13.0.0 / macOS 14.2.0 / macOS 14.2.1 / macOS 14.4.1

Full details are available on the official game pages, ensuring your gaming experience is smooth.

Resident Evil games for Apple are available to buy via the App Store and Mac App Store. Beware, though, as only the start of the game is free. Full access costs £19.99.

With improved graphics and extended availability, Capcom offers a new way to experience horror wherever you are. Get ready to face your fears with Resident Evil 7 on iPhone, iPad or Mac.
