The video game of the popular American football franchise Madden NFL will benefit, like every year, from a new version which will be released during 2024. This series of video games is historically linked to EA Sports, the sports branch of Electronics Arts, which has been the publisher since the very first game, published way back in 1988.

Will the new successor to Madden NFL 24 (released in 2023) be called Madden NFL 25 like the title of the game released in 2013? Will it be announced in June like last year? What editions will the game be in and when will they be released?

Everything you need to know about Madden NFL 25 (2024)

Following Billbil-Kun’s latest investigations for Dealabs Magazine, they’ve managed to recover several details about the next game in the Madden NFL franchise. We reveal them to you here and exclusively.

Game name and developer

Despite the existence of the game Madden NFL 25 corresponding to the video game released in 2013 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Madden series, the new game will be called the same.

We will name it Madden NFL 25 (2024) in the rest of the article to avoid any confusion. Also, it is still the EA Triburon studio which is in charge of developing the video game.

Some improvements in sight

From what we have seen, it appears that FieldSense technology (introduced from Madden NFL 23) will be improved with a reworked physics engine . This technology made it possible to obtain realistic animations with fluid gameplay.

We will also be entitled to several updated features in the different modes of the game, such as Career or Franchise mode. Details of these updates should be presented during the game’s first announcement.

Announcement date

While Madden NFL 24 was officially announced on 7 June, 2023, Madden NFL 25 (2024) will be revealed sooner than expected. Indeed, and according to our information, the game should be announced this Thursday, 16 May, 2024 .

Game release date, price and editions

According to billbil’s information, Madden NFL 25 (2024) will be released on Friday 16 August, 2024 . Holders of the Deluxe Edition as well as EA Play subscribers (included in Game Pass) will be able to benefit from four days early access , i.e. from 12 August, 2024 .

No price change is expected. We will therefore have exactly the same prices as those applied for Madden NFL 24.

Thus, the game will be released in two editions:

• Madden NFL 25 (2024) Standard Edition: To be released 16 August, 2024 . PC version price: £59.99 / €69.99 / $69.99
• Madden NFL 25 (2024) Deluxe Edition: Coming 12 August, 2024 . PC version price: £89.99 / €99.99 / $99.99

Star featured on the cover of the game

This is information that is still unknown to us. And we believe that the identity of the player who will be on the cover of the game will be revealed at a later time, unlike the first announcement of Madden NFL 24 last year. Indeed, it directly revealed Josh Allen as the game’s cover star.
