Most shops start their extended Christmas returns policy either at the start of October or November and they usually last up until Christmas or the end of January. This gives you extra time to return or exchange unwanted gifts.

It’s worth bearing in mind that each retailer will have requirements that must be fulfilled for a return to be made. Terms and conditions apply for all of these extended returns dates such as labels must be attached, items must be unworn/unused, and you must have your receipt or delivery invoice.
