Concord, the highly-anticipated multiplayer FPS, is offering the chance to dive into its world even before its official release. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Concord beta, characters and game modes.

When can you play the early access beta?

From 12 July, PS5 and PC gamers will be able to take part in the Concord Early Access Beta. This is an early access opportunity for those who have pre-ordered the game. Not only will you receive early access, but you’ll also get 5 extra codes to invite your friends to join in the fun.

This beta phase will last until 14 July 2024. It will give players a first glimpse of Concord’s game mechanics.

Here’s what you can expect to discover during the beta:

• Freegunners: Choose from 16 Freegunners, each with distinct skills and play styles.
• Maps: 4 maps will be available during the Early Access Beta. Each map offers a variety of strategic environments in which to battle.
• Game Modes: Choose from 3 game modes: Trophy Hunt, Salvage, and Occupy, each requiring a different strategy to win.

When is the Concord Open Beta?

For those who haven’t pre-ordered, don’t worry: the Concord Open Beta will start a little later, from 18 to 21 July 2024. This period will give all interested players the chance to get in on the action, test their skills and discover the new features introduced since the early access beta.

In addition to the modes already mentioned, the Open Beta will introduce the ‘Zone Control’ game mode. Teams will compete to dominate and secure different areas of the map. It’s a great opportunity to put your team coordination to the test.

In addition to the gameplay, Concord also offers an immersive narrative, with cinematic sequences about the crew of the Northstar.
