Epic Games Store: We know the first FREE game of the Mega Sale 2024

Here we are, the Epic Games Store Mega Sale event will be back today, 16 May at 4pm, and will extend to 13 June, 2024.

This annual PC store event will still have plenty of surprises in store for us. Very competitive promotions on the latest PC games, with the possibility of saving even more with a possible discount code. But also, and perhaps above all, four free AAA games which will be offered every week during the Mega Sale 2024.

Epic Games Store posted an enigmatic video on social media on 14 May that hides a clue for the free game today. This year’s hidden clues are much more complicated than last year’s. We can read in the comments several suggestions for the game Watch Dogs Legion, given the strong resemblance to the clue video given.

We are now able to reveal to you with certainty the title of the first free game during the Mega Sale 2024.

And the first game is…

According to information from Dealabs Magazine’s very own billbil-kun, the first game that will be offered during the Mega Sale 2024 will be none other than Dragon Age Inquisition – Game of the Year Edition.

The game will be available for free on the Epic Games Store from 16 to 23 May at 4pm.

This is therefore an opportunity for gamers wishing to try the game before the release of the fourth opus of the Dragon Age Dreadwolf series which should be presented during the summer of 2024.

Dragon Age Inquisition is an action-RPG type game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. It is the third episode of the Dragon Age series (after Origins and Dragon Age 2).

The Game of the Year Edition includes:

• The base game
• The arsenal, armour and caparisoned mount of the Flames of the Inquisition
• Dragon Age Multiplayer Deluxe Edition Chests
• Sky Fort, the red hahl and the swamp unicorn
• The Fangs of Hakkon DLC Pack
• The Descent DLC Pack
• The Intruder DLC Pack
• Alvar Loot: 5 new mounts, 2 new armour sets, and new ways to customize your base in Skyhold.
• Qunari loot: a caparisoned mount, new armour sets, including one in the Arishak style, and items from Skyhold.

If you’re not a PC gamer, know that the game is available on Game Pass Ultimate from Xbox. The game is also available on EA Play, accessible on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
