Almost a month before the reveal of Google’s new Pixel 8 smartphones, we’ve managed to obtain the prices which will apply in the UK and throughout Europe. Discover them here first!
A few days ago, Google officially announced the date of its upcoming event. New Pixel products are to be unveiled, with the event scheduled for 4 October, 2023. We’re particularly excited about the successors to the Pixel 7, the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
A familiar design
As is the case before each new smartphone launch, these two models have been the subject of various leaks and rumours. Starting with the design… Indeed, the trusted French leaker, OnLeaks, shared visuals of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro models this past March.
A promotional video was also leaked last August by an anonymous source on Twitter/X. This highlighted the inclusion of the Audio Magic Eraser, a feature allowing for the reduction of noise and background sounds in video content.

Most recently, the primary leak surrounding the design of the Pixel 8 Pro came directly from Google! That’s right, as Android developer Dylan Roussel, a regular contributor to the media platform 9TO5Google, spotted.
The Pixel Simulator website allowed us to glimpse 3D renderings of the Pixel 8 Pro, confirming several design elements. Please note the page in question has since been taken down. Among these elements, we learned that the phone will be available in three colours: sky blue, porcelain, and liquorice black.
There’s also a SIM card slot which was missing from the OnLeaks renderings. So, we can anticipate retaining a physical SIM card option.
Google recently posted the official 3D renders of the Pixel 8 Pro on their brand new Pixel Simulator website.

Rumours of Pixel 8 and 8 Pro storage capacities and prices
Let’s now delve into some of the phone’s speculated features. Notably, a source from WinFuture indicated that the Pixel 8 Pro model should be available with three storage options. These include the 128 GB and 256 GB options that can be found in the current Pixel 7 Pro, as well as a new larger 512 GB option. The Pixel 8 is expected to retain the current storage capacities of 128 GB and 256 GB.
Regarding price, a rumour originates from TheTechOutlook. They speculated they have the European prices for the upcoming Google smartphones, in each available colour. According to this outlet, the 128 GB Pixel 8 might have the hefty price tag of €874.25, while the Pixel 8 Pro could start at a staggering €1235.72. These are considerably more expensive than their predecessors (€649 and €899 respectively). The colours listed by the outlet for the Pixel 8 Pro: “Bay, Obsidian, Porcelain, Mint,” have been contradicted by official information from Google.
Thanks to our recent findings, we’re now able to disclose the genuine prices in euros for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro to be applied both in the UK and across Europe. We’ve also uncovered the available variants (based on colour and storage capacity) in the UK. Discover this exclusive information now!
What will the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro actually cost?
Whilst Google made a concerted effort last year not to hike up the prices of the Pixel 7 compared to the Pixel 6, this year will unfortunately see an increase in price.
Below is a list of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro models variants according to storage capacity and colour, which will be released in the UK with their price in euros:
Google Pixel 8
- 128 GB (Black, Grey-Green, Pink): €799
- 256 GB (Black, Grey-Green, Pink): €859
Google Pixel 8 Pro
- 128 GB (Black, Porcelain Beige, Sky Blue): €1099
- 256 GB (Black, Porcelain Beige, Sky Blue): €1159
- 512 GB (Black only): €1299
We would add that there is a possibility that the 512 GB version of the Pixel 8 Pro might be available in more colours via the Google store. Equally, we can’t guarantee that there wouldn’t be other exclusive colours for the Google Pixel 8 in the Google store.
You can naturally anticipate cashback offers (ODR) upon the launch of these 2 products. We’ll be sure to keep you updated if new information reaches us regarding these phones or more detailed characteristics are revealed.
