Are you fancying a change from Spotify? Amazon Music Unlimited is definitely a big competitor to the music-streaming giant. Before you commit to another subscription, you might want to try out Amazon Music first. We’ll talk you through how to get an Amazon Music free trial as well as how to cancel.
First off, you may be thinking, is Amazon Music free? In short, yes there’s a free tier much like Spotify’s free tier. Amazon Music Free has ads, a smaller song library and some restrictions.
There’s also Amazon Music Prime, included already with an Amazon Prime membership albeit with limits on skipping songs and a couple of other restrictions. The song catalogue on offer is a lot bigger though, with over 100 million songs, podcasts and more.
But for the best listening experience, you will want to get Amazon Music Unlimited. This is the premium tier of the music streaming platform, usually costing £9.99 a month. The audio quality is better including HD and spatial audio, with the library growing due to more high-quality audio tracks being included.
There’s also the Amazon Music Unlimited Family option, which includes up to 6 accounts. So with more people able to use the subscription, the monthly fee increases to £17.99.
