Ready to uplevel your design game without breaking the bank? Here's a handy workaround to secure a Canva Pro subscription at a significantly reduced cost. By using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and setting up a new Canva account, you can get Pro perks for as low as £1.98 a month.

Get Canva Pro for £1.98 per month via an Egypt VPN or £16.49 for a whole year! Make sure to try a free VPN trial, start with a new Canva account and pay with a fee-free card. Learn how!

We’ve found a neat little hack to get Canva Pro subscription for a significantly reduced price by utilising a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and a new Canva account.

This trick will save you some serious money, but as ever, you need to be aware that Canva may cancel your account as it could violate its terms and conditions — but for only £1.98 a month, it won’t be too much of a loss!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A computer (desktop site only, not the app)
  • A VPN service with Egypt as a server location (Free trial options mentioned below)
  • A new, unused Canva account
  • A fee-free card like Monzo or Revolut (avoids currency exchange fees)

How to get Canva using a VPN

This step-by-step guide will show you how to use a VPN to get Canva Pro for much less than the UK version.

  1. Choose your VPN

Free Option: Sign up for a free trial with a VPN service that offers Egypt as a server location. Cyberghost is one such option, and you can get 24 hours free.
Alternative Option: Use the free UrbanVPN Chrome extension and connect to a Turkish server instead (this works out at approximately £21 per year so only slightly more expensive).

  2. Activate your VPN

Launch your chosen VPN and connect to a server in Egypt (or Turkey, if using the alternative).

  3. Create a new Canva Account

Head to the Canva website on your desktop browser. Sign up for a new Canva account (ensure you haven’t used an email for one previously), as it will not work with a previous account.

  4. Subscribe to Canva Pro

Navigate to the Canva Pro subscription page within Canva. Choose your preferred plan: £1.98 per month or £16.49 per year (Egypt pricing).

  5. Payment with fee-free Card

During checkout, use your Monzo, Revolut, or similar fee-free card for payment. This avoids any additional charges for currency exchange and keeps it simple.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully subscribed to Canva Pro at a discounted price using a VPN. Remember, this method relies on regional pricing and may change over time, but it’s still a pretty good price considering the UK version is £100 per year!

Using a VPN to access region-specific pricing might violate the terms of service of some providers. It’s advisable to check Canva’s terms before proceeding.
