Remastering a PlayStation exclusive from 2015 to make it accessible to a wider community of gamers should also be accessible in terms of price. Will we really see a ‘low’ price tag for the enhanced version of Until Dawn due out in October? Find out in this article!
Get an exclusive look at the rather surprising price of PlayStation’s next remastered title, Until Dawn.
We finally know the release date of the Until Dawn remaster that we brought you exclusively last January on our French publication, Dealabs Magazine. Sony has made it official in a blog post, detailing the main improvements to the graphics, gameplay and story. But what’s the Until Dawn remake price? Let’s find out.
Until Dawn will be released on 4 October 2024, with a pre-order period starting this Wednesday 21 August.
Despite all this official information about the game, there’s one piece of information missing that’s really important. That’s the price of this new Remaster. Will we see a fairly reasonable price of around £49.99, as was the case for the remastered version of The Last of Us Part II, or will it be a surprise? Our French editor billbil-kun has all the details you want to know. We’ll let you know without delay.
A pretty hefty price for a Remaster!
Following our recent investigations, we’ve been able to find out the final price of the enhanced version of Until Dawn. We’ve also established that the game will also be released in physical format (with disc) on PS5.
Below you’ll find the Until Dawn remaster price in several currencies. According to our information, the price will be exactly the same for both the physical version on PS5 and the digital versions on PC and PS5.
£59.99 / €69.99 / $59.99 / AU$109.95 / CA$79.99
These prices are likely to disappoint many players, whether they’re rediscovering the game originally released in 2015 or playing it for the first time. By comparison, PlayStation’s latest remastered game, The Last of Us Part 2 on PS5, cost just £49.99 when it was released.
