For Days of Play, PlayStation is really pulling out all the stops with its PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium plans!
While we’ll be treated to a brand new State of Play this evening, with most likely announcements concerning God of War: Ragnarök on PC and the next Astro Bot game, it’s only right to talk about the latest PlayStation Plus announcements and all the new games currently available.
PlayStation has announced loads of new PS4 and PS5 games for the Extra and Premium packages, including:
- Dredge
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2
- Cricket 24
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition!
- WWE 2K24 (game trial)
And the list of new games available for all PlayStation Plus members includes:
- SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake
- AEW Fight Forever
- Streets of Rage 4
It’s a pretty tempting selection that will appeal to gamers of all ages. Don’t forget that EA Sports FC 24 is still available on PlayStation Plus too until 18 June.
For the record, Dredge has been included on the PlayStation service since 29 May, while LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be available from Friday 31 May. Cricket, meanwhile, will be available to PS Plus Extra & Premium subscribers from 5 June, just two days before the arrival of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition.
What else is on offer?
To mark Days of Play, Sony’s gaming arm has also decided to showcase its PlayStation VR2 headset! Five titles will be included in the PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium range for the VR2 from 6 June:
- Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord
- Walkabout Mini Golf
- Synth Riders
- Before Your Eyes
- The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapters 1 & 2.
Finally, the PS2 Classics range, which is reserved exclusively for PS Plus Premium members, will also be getting three new arrivals from 11 June:

- Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus.
As a reminder, if you want to take advantage of these offers, you need to subscribe to the PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium service, available at £10.99 and £13.49 respectively per month. You can also make do with PS Plus Essential, for £6.99 a month, which gives you access to a more limited selection of games.
There is currently 30% off PS Plus subscriptions, so be sure to make the most of this offer if you’re thinking of signing up.
