Only a few days to go until Samsung’s next event. This event, named the Samsung Unpacked, will take place on Wednesday 10 July 2024. The brand will be using the occasion to unveil its new products.

Except that, with the latest leaks that have been pouring in over the last few days, we now have almost the entire programme for this conference. Various visuals of the new products have already been leaked. We have already had the opportunity to reveal some previously unpublished information about these products, which we summarise below:

In this article, we will focus on the prices of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in France and Belgium. After converting them to pounds, these should give us a good idea of how much the smartphones will cost in the UK. You’ll also find the colours available from the usual retailers, as well as the prices of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.

Roughly a 20% price increase, according to one leak, but is this really the case?

This information has been spotted on a “European merchant database”, according to SamInsider. The database lists Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones and their prices.

The 256GB and 512GB versions would cost €1,399.99 and €1,466.99 respectively. With the current exchange rate, this would be approximately £1185 and £1241. And that would represent a huge increase of almost 20% on their predecessors, the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

For our part, we can easily refute this information. And even if there is a price increase, it won’t affect this Samsung model.

Our information on the price and release date of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in Europe

Thanks to our investigations, we were able to obtain the prices of Samsung’s new foldable smartphones in several countries, including France.

Here’s a summary of the configurations of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 available in Europe, along with their associated prices:

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 – Available in Blue, Silver, Yellow and Mint :

• 256 GB: €1,199 (£1015) in France and Belgium
• 512 GB: €1,319 (£1116) in France and Belgium

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 :

• 256 GB: Available in Blue, Silver and Pink. Price: €1,999 (£1691) in France and Belgium.
• 512 GB: Available in Blue, Silver and Pink. Price: €2,119 (£1793) in France and Belgium.
• 1 TB: Available in Blue. Price: €2,359 (£1996) in France and Belgium.

So we can see that there will be no price increase compared with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. And there’s even a slight price cut for the 512GB model of the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, on the other hand, will rise by between €80 and €100 (£70-85) depending on the configuration.

Colours exclusive to the Samsung Shop, the official Samsung shop

The above-mentioned colours will be available from Samsung-approved retailers such as Fnac, Boulanger and Amazon. And now we also have the opportunity to reveal the colours that will be available exclusively at Samsung Shops in various European countries:

Release date and pre-order period

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 smartphones will be available in France on 24 July 2024. A pre-order period will precede this release, starting on 10 July 2024 at 2pm UK time.
